Marlena Kudlicka (ur. 1973r.); w latach 1992-98 studiowała malarstwo w Akademii Sztuk Plastycznych w Poznaniu. Swoje prace artystyczne prezentowała na wystawach indywidualnych m.in. w Or Gallery Berlin 2014, ARCO Madrid, w kooperacji z galerią ŻAK | BRANICKA 2014; ŻAK | BRANICKA Gallery Berlin 2013; Galeria Bacelos Madryt 2012; Volta New York 2012; Stedefreund Berlin 2012; Lower Manhattan Cultural Council NYC 2009; Kunsthaus Raskolnikow Drezden 2009; International Studio & Curatorial Program NYC 2008; Institute Glasspavilion Volksbuhne Berlin 2007; Location One NYC 2005, oraz brała udział w wielu wystawach grupowych m.in. w Axel Obiger Berlin, Niemcy; CGAC Santiago de Compostela, Hiszpania; Invisible Dog New York, USA; Kunsthaus Erfurt, Niemcy; Void + Tokio, Japonia; 98weeks Bejrut, Liban; Centro de las Artes Salamanca, Meksyk; CASYC Santander, Hiszpania; Galeria Miejska Poznań; White Box NYC, USA. Mickiewicza (2010/2011); Narodowego Centrum Kultury (2007/2008); Trust For Mutual Understanding New York (2004/2005). Mieszka i pracuje w Berlinie.
W projekcie „a divided dot” dla artystki istotna stała się precyzyjna analiza punktu oraz powody, dla których punkt może być podzielony. Inspiracją w pewnym sensie była tu historia powstawania pierwszych drukarni np. Tetterode w Amsterdamie, mechanizmów oraz maszyn drukarskich (linotyp). W Galerii AT zostaną zaprezentowane kolaże rzeźbiarskie z użyciem szkła i stali. Tytuł, podobnie jak w poprzednich pracach Kudlickiej, odgrywa również rolę rzeźbiarskiej konstrukcji językowej, której formy inspirowane są kształtem liter.

In the project "a divided dot" the artist focuses on analyzing reasons for which a dot may be divided. Kudlicka draws inspirations from the formation of the first printing manufacture such Tetterode in Amsterdam and printing machines like linotype. For the show at AT Gallery the artist will present sculptural collages made of glass and steel. The title, as in previous Kudlicka’s works functions as a sculptural language.
