RENATE ANGER
Renate Anger (ur. 1943 r. w Danzig - zm. 2008 r. w Berlinie); w latach 1973-1977 studiowała w Hochschule für Bildende Künste we Frankfurcie oraz w Hochschule für Bildende Künste w Hamburgu, w pracowni prof. Franz Erharda Waltera (1977-1980). Prace wystawiała na wielu wystawach indywidualnych m.in. w Kunstverein Giannozzo, Berlin, Galerie Ermer, Berlin, Kunstverein Oldenburg, Prima Kunst e.V., Kiel, Galerie Yuill/Crowley, Sydney, Australia, Raum KUNST, Sydney, Australia, Kunstraum Düsseldorf, Vanitas, Gitte Weise Gallery, Sydney, Australia, Haus am Waldsee, Berlin, Kunst & Co., Flensburg, oraz brała udział w licznych wystawach zbiorowych w Niemczech, Francji, Polsce, Jugosławii, Włoszech, Szwecji, USA, Australii, Chinach.
Renate Anger zginęła w wypadku samochodowym w dniu 21 maja 2008 w Berlinie. Wystawa w Galerii AT była ostatnim pokazem prac tej wybitnej artystki.
Renate Anger (1943 - 2008); she studied at the Hochschule fur Bildende Kunste in Frankfurt (1973-77) and in Hamburg (1977-80). She was Professor at the Muthesius-Hochschule in Kiel (1992-1998). Her artworks have been presented among others in: Germany, Poland, United States, Australia, China, United Arab Emirates, Czech Republic, Russia, Sweden, Senegal, Canada, Holland. Active in the fields of painting, photography, installation.
Renate Anger was killed in a car accident on May 21, 2008 in Berlin. Exhibition in the AT Gallery was the last show of the work of this outstanding artist.
