MARIUSZ KRUK

Mariusz Kruk (ur. 1952r. w Poznaniu); w latach 1978-1982 studiował malarstwo w Państwowej Wyższej Szkole Sztuk Plastycznych w Poznaniu. Dyplom uzyskał w 1982 roku w pracowni malarstwa prof. Jerzego Kałuckiego. W latach 1983-1994 był wykładowcą na macierzystej uczelni. W 1983 roku założył grupę artystyczną Koło Klipsa, z którą był związany do 1987 roku. W latach 1995-2002 mieszkał na południu Francji. Obecnie prowadzi Pracownię Malarstwa na Wydziale Edukacji Artystycznej w UAP. Prace artystyczne prezentował na wielu wystawach indywidualnych i zbiorowych m.in. w Galerii Akumulatory 2, Poznań, Galerii Wielka 19, Poznań, CSW Zamek Ujazdowski, Warszawa, Kunstverein, Arnsberg, Kunst-Werke, Berlin, Galerie Etienne Tilman, Bruksela, Wilhelm Lehmbruck Museum, Duisburg, Muzeum Sztuki, Łódź, Kunsthalle, Brema, Muzeum Narodowym, Poznań, Galerii ABC, Poznań, Narodowej Galerii Zachęta, Warszawa, Galerii Miejskiej Arsenał, Poznań, Galerii Biała, Lublin. W 1992 roku brał udział w Documenta 8 w Kassel. Mieszka i pracuje w Poznaniu.

Mariusz Kruk (b.1952 in Poznan); in the years 1978-1982 he studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan. He graduated in 1982 in the atelier of prof. Jerzy Kałucki. In the years 1983-1994 he was a lecturer at his alma mater. In 1983 he founded the artistic group Koło Klipsa with which he was associated until 1987. In 1995-2002 he lived in the south of France. Currently he teaches in Painting Studio at the Faculty of Art Education in the University of Arts in Poznan. Works of art exhibited in many solo and group exhibitions, among others in: Akumulatory 2 Gallery, Poznan, Wielka 19 Gallery, Poznan, CSW Ujazdowski Castle, Warsaw, Kunstverein Arnsberg, Kunst-Werke, Berlin, Galerie Etienne Tilman, Brussels, Wilhelm Lehmbruck Museum, Duisburg, Museum of Art, Lodz, Kunsthalle, Bremen, National Museum, Poznan, ABC Gallery, Poznan, National Gallery Zacheta, Warsaw, Arsenal City Gallery, Poznan, Biala Gallery, Lublin. In 1992, he participated in Documenta 8 in Kassel. He lives and works in Poznan.
