Eberhard Bosslet (born 1953 in Speyer, Germany); is a German contemporary artist who has been producing side-specific art and architectural-related works, such as sculpture, installation and painting, both indoors and outdoors, since 1979. He co-founded the artist group, "Material & Effect" (Material & Wirkung) in Berlin in 1981, and since 1980, has been the co-director of the artistspace "MOPEDS" in Berlin/Kreuzberg that is involved in curating and managing non-conventional artshows. Since 1997 he is Professor in Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Dresden. Art work he exhibited in: Fundación Miró, Barcelona, Wilhelm-Lehmbruck-Museum, Duisburg, Heidelberger Kunstverein, John Gibson Gallery, New York, Nationalgalerie Berlin, Galerie Gilles Peyroulet, Paris, Kunsthal Rotterdam, Galerie Bochynek, Düsseldorf Basics, Kunstverein Viernheim, Viernheim, Künstlerhaus Bregenz, Palais Thurn und Taxis, and group exhibitions in: Germany (documenta 8), Spain, USA, Holland, Australia.

For the show at Galeria AT Bosslet realized a space extending installation from the Barrier series. A hug amount of concrete and reinforcement steel are brought into the exhibition space to execute the sculpture on site. Bosslets Barriers are foundation-like, knee-high constructions in concrete and steel re-enforcement made on site, designed for the dimensions of the space, and blocking the evident path through the room.
