Artystę interesuje przede wszystkim sfera odczuć i personalnej wyobraźni widza. Niejednokrotnie eksponuje w swoich realizacjach "przypadkowo znalezione" fotografie, stanowiące integralne dopełnienie do budowania sytuacyjnych instalacji. Elementem istotnym w jego pracach jest także dźwięk, często generowany elektronicznie i współgrający np. z mobilnością obiektów, czy użytą w realizacji wiązką światła laserowego. Wykorzystywanie przez Pepłońskiego dźwięku, jak i ruchu jest zawsze subtelnie stonowane, balansujące na granicy zmysłowego odczuwania i coraz bardziej, jak się wydaje, prace artysty nakierowane są, na penetrowanie mistycznej, zjawiskowej tajemnicy rzeczywistości i osadzonej w niej własnej, personalnej świadomości.
Artist is primarily interested in the sphere of the viewer's feelings and personal imagination. In his works, he often displays "accidentally found" photographs, which constitute an integral complement to the construction of situational installations. Another important element in his works is sound, often generated electronically and harmonizing with, for example, the mobility of objects or the laser light beam used in the project. Pepłoński's use of sound and movement is always subtly subdued, balancing on the verge of sensual feeling, and it seems that the artist's works are increasingly aimed at penetrating the mystical, phenomenal mystery of reality and his own personal consciousness embedded in it.
