Monika Aleksandrowicz; absolwentka Wydziału Malarstwa wrocławskiej Akademii Sztuk Pięknych oraz Filozofii na Wydziale Nauk Społecznych Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego. W latach 2020-2024 pełniła funkcję kierownika Katedry Mediacji Sztuki. Obecnie jest Prodziekaną na Wydziale Rzeźby i Mediacji Sztuki Akademii Sztuk Pięknych im. Eugeniusza Gepperta we Wrocławiu. Od 2021 roku prowadzi Pracownię Komunikacji Twórczej i Pracownię dyplomującą PKT. Od ponad 20 lat tworzy książki artystyczne, eksperymentując na granicy obrazu i tekstu. Jej praktyka obejmuje asemic writing, język wizualny oraz struktury geometryczne inspirowane rytmem i matematyką. W swoich projektach bada komunikację wizualną jako przestrzeń napięcia między znakiem, obrazem i znaczeniem. Swoje prace wystawiała na wielu wystawach indywidualnych i zbiorowych w Polsce Belgii, Hiszpanii, Norwegii, Islandii.
Monika Aleksandrowicz is a graduate of the Faculty of Painting at Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław and of Philosophy at the Faculty of Social Sciences at University of Wrocław. From 2020 to 2024, she served as Head of the Department of Art Mediation. She is currently Vice-Dean at the Faculty of Sculpture and Art Mediation at Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław. Since 2021, she has run the Creative Communication Studio and the PKT Diploma Studio. For over 20 years, she has been creating art books, experimenting at intersection of image and text. Her practice encompasses asemic writing, visual language, and geometric structures inspired by rhythm and mathematics. In her projects, she explores visual communication as a space of tension between sign, image, and meaning. She has exhibited her work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Poland, Belgium, Spain, Norway, Iceland.
